At Galibier Pass ’ foot, discover Valloire : an authentic traditional village. The 1300-inhabitants village its 17 hamlets and 16 chapels will charm you.  

Valloire offers great ski possibilities and is linked with Valmeinier ski resort.

On winter, the 150 kms allow you to practice different kinds of ride : cross country skiing, snowboarding, skiing...
Thanks to the 380 snow canons, the ski resort is open from December till the end of April.
On January, for many years Valloire organizes an International Ice and Snow Sculpture contest.
